What do you mean by “decolonisation”?

Tom Williams Leave a Comment

Decolonisation, in the context of our work, refers to our commitment to challenging and dismantling the remnants of colonial structures and mindsets that persist in global health and development. This involves promoting local leadership, respecting and uplifting local knowledge and practices, and working towards systems that empower rather than impose. It’s about shifting the narrative from aid to equitable collaboration.
