Challenging gender inequality is integral to STAND’s work. We actively promote the training and employment of female prosthetic technicians, ensure that our programs are accessible to women and girls with limb differences, and strive to address the specific challenges they face. By advocating for gender-sensitive practices and policies within the prosthetics and orthotics field, we contribute to a more inclusive and equitable environment.
