Ottobock Triton vertical shock
All Topics
The Triton vertical shock moves along with the user, resulting in noticeable relief for your residual limb. It supports the natural rotation movement of the leg, decreasing shearing and strain on your residual limb due to torsion and reducing skin irritation. The Triton Vertical Shock also cushions the impact felt at heel strike or in situations such as going up and down stairs. Its elastomer ring effectively absorbs torsion to relieve the residual limb and boost comfort life in combination with vertical shock absorption. The foot provides moderate flexibility in the mid-stance phase that is required for good responsiveness as well as exactly the right level of energy return when walking at faster speeds. The three interconnected springs provide stability even when you make quick, responsive movements. The triton vertical shock has two different heel wedges which allow customisation of both the gait dynamics and the impact stress at heel strike. The special shape of the big toe makes it possible to wear sandals.
