This video lecture was made by Eunice Kombe, a prosthetist at Harowin Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Clinic in Moshi, Tanzania, detailing a case of traumatic hemipelvectomy and subsequent prosthesis development and management using components donated by Legs4Africa.

This case is a very exciting development for prosthetics in Tanzania as very few cases of traumatic hemipelvectomy have been published, and we are pleased to report that the patient is doing very well.

About the lecturer: Eunice Kombe has an MSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics and is also an assistant lecturer in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College.
