Our experience with Legs4Africa was super easy and straightforward. After discussing my availability of luggage allowance, I had a box of just under 30kg delivered to my flat. We popped it in a taxi and took it to the airport. We had a letter emailed to us explaining to the airline exactly what was in the box and info about the charity. However we didn’t need it, the airline (emirates) was fine. We took it through to the oversized baggage and collected it again when we arrived in Uganda. All in all it was very smooth and straightforward, and we were delighted to hear these prostheses have not gone to waste in the UK but have also found a great home where they will be used by people who otherwise may not have the opportunity to have a new limb. Great work Legs4Africa!
